The Oregon Small Wind Energy Association (OSWEA) is a leading advocate for the small and distributed wind energy industry in Oregon. Consumer education, professional development, and informed policy will ensure the growth and sustainability of the small wind energy industry in Oregon.
Through nationwide collaboration among stakeholders, OSWEA will promote, foster, and advance the implementation of distributed wind energy technology.
OSWEA has quickly become a leading body of knowledge, experience, and understanding on all matters relevant to small wind in Oregon. OSWEA is working on key issues such as zoning, permitting, utility interconnection, industry standards, installer certification, and state and federal incentive programs critical to the success of distributed wind energy technology in Oregon.
